This album was first recorded in 1988 (except the track "Beijing"; 1982), containing far-east inspired music and music for relaxation and meditation. Since the performance and sound quality was not suited for release, eric re-recorded the tracks. "Beijing" and "The holy man" were re-recorded in the 90's on Tascam 238 8-track, and the rest of the tracks in 2023 using Reason. The japanese word "mokuso" is used in the budo arts and means "eyes closed", prompting for a short meditation before and after the budo class. Composed, performed, recorded, mixed and mastered by eric g. Cover picture by "4144132", kindly provided by Pixabay.

Despite this not being a Perge release it is very much in that style, but without the obvious TD references. The track Albedo 0.15 references back to Vangelis, but that's really it. If you love the music of Perge, you'll love this album equally. Mark Tyrrell
