Back in 1983, the firm Roland issued a competition in one of the music magazines: Compose, record and send in a short (3 minutes) song and win loads of Roland gear! eric recorded Exorbitance (without the mellotron intro and outtro), sent it to Roland and waited for the reward. Weeks later, an envelope arrived from Roland. The prize: Two pens. This is a re-recording of that track.
I can't add much to what others have said. Fantastic album in the best tradition of Berlin school electronic music. Familiar, yet fresh. Outstanding. PhilPDX50
